Google Calendar

google calendarIt's here. Google Calendar. Like all other Google products, it's clean and simple. Really simple. And fun to play with :). And you can share your calendar and view other people's calendars. Other features include migrating calendars from iCal and Outlook, importing calendar holidays (from various countries), event discussions, event invitations, and loads more. In the words of ActiveWin:

Google late Wednesday opened up its much-anticipated Calendar service to the public in beta form, complete with Gmail integration and SMS notifications. Code-named CL2, the free service enables users to quickly add events and reminders, send invitations and share their calendar with others.

Google Calendar can import events directly from Microsoft Outlook and Yahoo! Calendar, in addition to supporting calendar standards to view schedules on any device supporting iCal or XML files. Gmail will also recognize events mentioned in an e-mail to quickly add them to Google Calendar.

They really make it too easy to stalk people.

You should be a tech writer. You know more about the news than I do ... geez.

Haha, I only know more because I have RSS feeds to about 7 different online tech news...and I have loads of time to read all of them :P

Until it works with iSync, it's crap.

iSync is for organizing your devices via software, it doesn't support software-to-software organization. The point is to download your contacts/calendar from your phone or PDA and import it into Address Book or iCal. Then you can import iCal into Google calendar.

Right. But they are all calendar and address books. If I make a change on my phone or Entourage or Address Book, they will all sync up together. Moreover, iSync syncs with .Mac, which isn't a device. Hopefully they'll open up a Google Calendar API. That would be sweet.
